FIRE AT GISBORNE.
The manager of the New Zealand Insurance Company has received a telegram from his agent at Gisborne stating that Mr Leahy's dwelling-house was burnt at midnight, and that the inmates barely escaped. Nothing was saved. The house was insuied for £200.
