The Wellington "Argus" is responsible for the statement that many of the local volunteers have resigned, in fear of .beinf called out for active service, in the event of Avar with Russia.
The London correspondent of the " Sydney Morning Herald " says the expectation is that when the present Czar dies,' the hcav Czar Avill not lose much time in making war upon Germany, in revenge for her treatment of Denmark, wlicsa- wrongs burn in the Czarevua's heart.
