POLICE COURT.—Tuesday.
(Before J. H. Home and T. Henderson, Esqs., Justices.) Drunkenness. —E. Eundell forfeited bail. J. Wood was fined 5s and costs, and, being further charged as an habitual drunkard, was cautioned and discharged. Merchant Shipping Act. —John Lute and John Barker pleaded guilty to desertion from the ship Countess of Kiutore, and were sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
