HOBART TOWN.
October s*—The Assembly has agreed to a conference in Council on the Tariff Bill, and the apprehended deadlock is averted.—The Blackboy diggings are turning out well. Two men realised 24 oz.. in a fortnight, and 150 men are making wages.
October 11.—Six of the Tasmanian crew, to contest at the Balmain Regatta, sailed in the City of Hobart.
