Monday, Oct. 3.—Three distinct earthquake shocks in rapid succession have been felt here to-day (Monday), though not very severe. The shook occurred at 2.15 p.m , and the direction appeared from N. to S. —Buckridge's buther's shop and premises at Taiti were completely burned down last night.
