Sib, —It is announced that the Carandinis are shortly to leave New Zealand, on a trip to Europe. If this be true, we shall not have an opportuuicr of hearing them a^ain for some time to come. Could not the Choral Society be induced to repeat " Th»Elijah ? :' I feel sure it would be a great success, and delight every true lover of Mendelssohn's greatest work. —i am, &c, o'la.vi-
