ARRIVAL OF THE AHURIRI.
Tlie N.Z.S.N. Company's s.s. Ahuriri, Capt. Flowerday, arrived in the Manukau this morning from the South. She left Wellington May 10th, 1.30 p.m.; arrived at Picton 10th, at 7 p.m. ; left Picton 10th, at 9 p.m.; arrived at Nelson 11th, at 7 am.; left Nelson 11th, at 3 p.m.; arrived at Wanganui 12th, at 9 a.m.; left Wanganui 14th, at 9 p.m ; arrived at Taranaki 16th, at 1 p.m., left again at 2 p.m.; arrived at Onehunga 17th, at 8.20 a.m. Experienced strong northerly gale off Cape Egmont, hove-to 16 hours. Landed mails and passengers at Taranaki 16th. In consequence of the heavy sea on the beach was compelled to bring on cargo for that port. Passengers.—Saloon—Mr. and Mrs. Manning, Mr. Durie, Miss Campbell, Mr. Fitzgerald, Mr. McNicol. The Ahuriri brings a cargo of cattle and sheep, in first class condition.
