ARRIVAL OF THE KEERA.
The s.s. Keera, Captain J. Bain, arrived in the Manukau this morning from Wanganni, with a cargo of cattle and sheep. She left Wanganui at 415 p.m. on Monday, with strong N.N.W. wind and very heavy head , sea; passed Taranaki at 10 a.m. next morning, wind S.W.; arrived at Manukau at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, most of the passage being made under canvas. .The Keera towed the brig Lady Deniion out of Wanganui. She was bound for Melbourne. The s.s. Wanganui arrived on Monday from the Manukau. The Keera has landed the whole of her large cargo of stock in splendid order, and without any loss. Passengers. — Messrs. Pierson, Peach, McDermott, Smith, and Proub. We have received Wanganui papers to the 7th instant.
