SERIOUS FIRE AT REMUERA.
TWO HOESES BURNT TO DEATH
We learn that a serious fire occurred on the property of Mr. Hannaford, Remuera, on Thursday night, which resulted in the total destrucfien of a large stable and a slack of hay, besides burning two valuable horses to death. Every effort was made to save the buildings adjoining, which fortunately proved successful. We have not learned what was the origin of tfee fire or whether the property destroyed was insured or not.
