ST. PETER'S. AKAROA.
0 TO THE'EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir, —Very much may be insinuated without allowing any reply to the party attacked. If the late " Churchwarden " has facts to justify his action, why does he not state them ? If he has ho better ground for bis inuendos than in his allusion to. the to the sermon of Sunday evening .last, they are very harmless, but to any of ybu r readers not attending service, he suggest s that the " Rev. Incumbent" gave a sermon which was unfit to be listened to by young people. Whereas a visitor preached, whom* I may also say is a gentleman well-known amongst us as incapable of giving utterance to any expression which would wilfully offend the feelings of any one tive, though they may be. Surely the late "Churchwarden's" fetter required more consideration, Yours, &c, PARISHIONER.
