DUNSTABLE HOUSE. AUTUMN CLEARANCE OF FASHIONABLE DRAPERY AND HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS. "TTTE beg respectfully to announce W that T H IS DAY we shall, according to custom, OFFER the BALANCE of our SEASON'S STOCK. As this is our rale, customers may rely upon all GOODS being new and in good condition. In many instances it will be seen that we prefer to clear out at a loss rather than hold over. Purchasers will therefore have an opportunity of buying considerably below English prices. It is not generally necessary to make large reductions in PLAIN DRAPERY and HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS, but having received advices from our London office of large shipments for these Departments, we have determined to clear out our present stocks. To effect this, we have carefully re-marked the Goods, and made such reductions as will effect the object sought. _ Catalogues were distributed with Friday's Lyttelton Times, and also with the weekly Times, and can be obtained at Dunstable House. As the quantities, in some cases, are limited, intending purchasers would do well to make an early call. Although we think we offer the Largest and Cheapest Stock ever shown in Christchurch during the last three years, we shall, as usual, give One Shilling off every Pound purchased for Cash. We mark all Goods in plain figures. The reduced prices are in Red Ink. Buyers can easily satisfy themselves as to the reality of the reductions. The Goods are all in stock in quantity, at the reduced prices named, on the date of this issue. J. BALLANTYNE & CO., Dunstable House, Christchurch ; And No. 2 Gresham Buildings, Basinghall-street, London. January 20,1877.
