The following case of wanton cruelty is recorded in the York Peninsula Advertiser : —There is an inhuman scoundrel at large who deserves the heaviest penalty that can Jje inflicted for cruehy to animals. A horse belonging to a man at East Moonta came in from the Bcrub the other day with its mouth tightly tied up with whipcord, go that it could neither eat not drink. jCutting the cord, the owner found that some monster in human form had packed the poor beast's mouth Avith dung and bits of scrub, and then firmly tied its mouth in the manner described.
