BREAD—FAMINE PRICE. o TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir, —Already has our local baker taken advantage of being left alone in the field by raising the price nf bread to lOd. the 41b. loaf. It is to be hoped the people of Akaroa will bestir themselves to find another baker to crush this wanton monopoly, and give him their united support. Surely, in all reason, 9d. the 41b. loaf, at the present price' of flour, returns a handsome profit, which should satisfy any reasonable baker.—l am, &c, No Monopoly.
