His Worship the Mayor, Mr Wm. Bringans, returned from the north last night. Miss Bringans is remaining m Dnnedin for the present. Mrs L. Beaumont, of Dunudin, is the guest of Mrs A. F. Stewart. Mrs Boyes, of Temuka, is the guest of Mrs Wm. Harlow, Clyde. Mrs and Miss Greta McKeUar spent the week-end in Dunedin. Mr W. Hull returned from Dunedin last evening. ' Mrs Jack Parker and family, of North Otago, are the guests of Mrs Parker's mother, Mrs R. Ross. Mrs Kavanagh, of Dunedin, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs Tom Sunderland. Calbed advice from Mrs Alex Taylor is to the effect that she has arrived in England in good health, after' an enjoyable voyage. Dr. Brokenßhire has resumed his duties, and Dr. Alex Priest, who has been relieving him, returned. to,..Dunedin on Saturday. _ .. •Mr A. F. Steawrt, of the National Bank, is at present on leave. *•' Mr A.' G. McDonald, of Dunedin,'is relieving him. '.-*'• We regret to say that Mr Richard McNamara is at present a patient ■in the Dunstan Hospital. Mrs Wilson, of Dunedin, his daughter, is at present in Alexandra. Mrs Corkill, of Invercargili, is to be resident at the Criterion Club Hotel for some little time, and she has joined the Golf Club for the period of her stay. Last Sunday, Miss Vera McLean, of Invercargili, travelled from there by air to Queenstown, and is now the guest of her sister, Mrs Frank Johnston, of Earnseleugh. Messrs Waite, Murney and Sheat, of • the Mortgagors' Adjustment 'sion, were staying at the Criterion Club Hotel on Thursday night last.
