STOCK RETURNS.
SYDNEY, March 4. Progress returns of the stock in New South Wales for the year ended last December shows an increase of 66,779 cattle and decreases of 774,77 sheep and 10>,521 horses. The decrease in horses is largely attributed to the increasing popularity of motor traffic.
