HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

< Liberal patronage was accorded the management of His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday night, when a complete change of programme was presented. Pride of place was given to a Metro production in which the popular and clever actress Viola Dana was seen' to, advantage. The story unfolded the experiences of a winsome girl, Sally Castle ton, who lived in Kentucky with her grandfather/and her domineering aunt, John Derr become deeply infatuated with Sally, who cared only for Derr's cousin, whom the latter had defrauded of an inheritance. Derr, the tollrgate monopolist, however, forced his attontions upon Sally and when repulsed showed an ugly temper. Subsequently the girl's grandfather became ill and she proceeded to secure medical aid, but was delayed so long at the tollgates, as a result of Derr's spitefulness. tliat the doctor, arrived too late. With his last breath the old man urged Sally to continue the fight he had started against the toll-gate monopoly. This she did, and not without success after many thrilling experiences. During the progress of the story there were several displays of clever horsemanship. The supporting subjects in the new programme which will be repeated tonight were the "Co-operative Weekly" and a comedy entitled 'Whose Wife?"' j
