The ex-Kaiser recently approached the German Government regarding his private fortune. Being without ready money he has already borrowed twenty thousand gulden from his Dutch host.
The German Government admitted his claim to private property, Amounting to seventy-fivo million marks, and allowed him six jl 'hundred thousand marks, with currentexpenses.
