ROTTERDAM, March 2. ■ Haast and Barth, Independent Socialists belonging to the first revolutionary Government in Berlin, have arrived at Munich, and are actively participating in th~e movement for the separation or Bavaria from the remainder ot Germany. . „ The Spartaeist plan to paralyse tfce National Assembly and isolate Weimar has been achieved for the time being. Railway communication has been cut. A general strike of labourers m the mining and industrial areas of Thunngia, Anlrolt and Saxony has beeirproolaimed, including transport and lighting. On "the other hand officials, doctors and chemists struck as a counterdemonstration. . Meanwhile, whilst the Majority and hulepnednent Socialists of Bavaria are

endeavouring to find a common basis for action, the Sj)arbacists have been administering Munich on strictly Bolshevist pattern, foodstuffs being allocated on. the basis that labourers have double the rations compared to those for the bourgeoise.

Spartacists seized the Government banknote printing works and are issuing paper money of their own designing.
