Dobson. —Omitting battleships, battle cruisers, and cruisers, ; over 20 years old from the date of launching/ thq. number of warships in commission by Germany and America in March, 1914, was as follows:—Germany 327, America 166. At the 'same time, Germany had 41 war Vessels in course of construction and the United States had 30. Britain's warships totalled 572 in.March, 1914, . and France's fleet numbered 342.
