Longbeach Road Boad.

The usual monthly meeting of the Longr beach Road Board took place this morning. Present—Messrs J . C. N. Grigg (chairman)j G. W. Body, and Jas. Stoddart. An apology for absence was received from Mr W. T. LiU. COCKSFOOT. The Chairman a letter from the Government Insuvanpe Bepavfcment, drawing attention to the facilities offered fpr the insurance of employees against accident. INSURING EMPLOYEES. The Secretary reported that Messrs Brifctain and Muir had tendered for taking cocksfoot off the Board's roads at from -£d told per lb.
