Shocking Crime in Wandsirorth.
A Woman and sis Children Killed.

A tragedy of a. most shocking oharaoter has been enacted at Wandsworth, a suburb of London, where a man out the throats of his wife and six children, and theij tool his own life. The murderer was a plasterer, and had by thrift and economy succeeded in making his surroundings very oomfortable. Lately, however, he had been out of work, and all Mb efforts to obtain employment failed. This preyed upon his mind to iuoh an extent as to affect his reason, and to this is attributed his appalling crime. The whole of the members of the unfortunate man's family were put to death with the exception of one aon, who eaoaped and gave tho alarm. When aid arrived $be crime was oompleted, and the body of the murderer with the throat out, was dtgcqvered. m an attitude of prayer. '
