WILDING'S TENNIS.

) Wilding easily won the Monte Carlo Tennis Cup. I should have said, perhaps, that he retained it, since he held it last year (writes the Sydney "Sun's" correspondent). His hardest game was supposed to bo with Decugis, the French champion, but when they met over the net the Frenchman could not withstand the steady accuracy of the New 'Zealander, and Wilding was left to play Poulin in the'final. Poulin is a dashing volleyer, but his forehand ground shots iaro weak. Ho was brilliant without being safe, ■ whilst Wilding , was safe without being brilliant, arid ran out a fairly easy winner. In the opnn mixed doubles, Wilding and Miss Ryan fairly romped through all the rounds, and won the final easily; ibutwhen it came to' the gentlemen'« doubles. Wilding and his partner, R. Ivlemsohroth, had their eolonrs lowered by F. W. Raheand H. Kleinschroth.
