[Pfia Pbess Association.] * WELLINGTON, Skft. 20. Two men, named William Doyle and Edward Ryan, have been committed for trial on the charge of assaulting and robbing E. Davis on the night of Sept. 7. The body of a newly-born infant has been found in the bush at Greytown North. WESTPOET, Sept. 20. W. G. Morgan, late sub-postmaster at Tnanejahua Junction, has been committed for triil at tbe Supreme Court, Nelson, charged with the embezzlement of a registered letter containing £22, posted by G. F. Bryan to the Colonial Bank at Beef ton. He stands remanded on two other charges. Mr Sheat, the Chief Postmaster, ifj the prosecutor.
