SOME NEW USES OF PINEAPPLE.

Many people do net know that the ripe juice squeezed from a pineapple is one of the most usual remedies for sore throats in the lands where this fruit grows. The juice relieves the inflammation. It is also used as an application to a corn or wart. A piece of freshly-pulled pineapple should be placed on the corn, and left there for seven or eight hours; when it is removed the corn should be so pliable that it can be taken out quite easily. ® ® '9 A CHILBLAIN REMEDY. Put the hands or feet into hot salt water; use plenty of salt, and do it as often as possible. This 'will relieve the inflammation at once.
