RIDD MILKING MACHINE.

Invented by a practical Taranaki farmer, the Itidd milking machine, for the 6ale of which Messrs A. Buckland and Sons, Albert-street, are the agents, has achieved a high measure of popularity. The Bidd machine is a natural milker—that is to say, it does away with the forcing out of the milk by high suction. It is very simply worked, and can be cleaned thoroughly in a very short time. Also, it completely strips the cows, thus saving much labour. It has had record sales in Taranaki, and is going ahead in the Auckland district. The agents have received many testimonials from users of this machine, all speaking in most eulogistic terms of its efficiency and simplicity. The machine is available for inspection at the Show at all hours, being kept running continuously, with an expert attendant at hand to point out its principles.

About the computer-generated text

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a process for automatically extracting text from scanned pages. OCR enables searching of large quantities of full-text data, but it is not 100% accurate. The level of accuracy depends on the print quality of the original newspaper and its condition at the time of microfilming. Newspapers with poor quality paper, small print, mixed fonts, multiple column layouts or damaged pages may have poor OCR accuracy.

The page where this item appears has an estimated OCR accuracy of 97.58%.
