PROTESTANT TRUTH SOCIETY PROTEST. "NO POPERY" DEMONSTRATION. [Press Association— Copyright.] - ••■ London', July 28. The Protestant Truth Society has entered a protest against the new Coronation Oath pn the ground that it does not provide against mental reservation or Papal dispensation, and is merely on lines parallel to the oaths taken, by Charles II and James 11, both of which proved ineffective. Members of the Society marched in procession to Downing Street, and cried "No Popery!" till the police stopped them.
