THE BARQUE LUTTERWORTH.
SUCCESSFULLY FLOATED. : The barque tmfcterworth, which went ashore on ihe 2 rocks, near the Fifeshire on Tuesday morning white being sailed out of the harbor, came off safely on yesterday morning's tide. The barque floated off herself, and was towed to the outer anchorage; Captain Cox, the Pilot, who was on board ihe baraue, 1 fastened a hawser from the bow' of th£ stranded vessel to the Fifeshire rocK to keep her head from being swung across the entrance by the force of the incoming tide, and as soon as tne barque was afloat, this was paid out, the vesesl being carried some twenty yards sternwards. At a quarter to eleven the steamers Charles Edward and the Tasman went to the assistance of the barque ,but the services of the latter were 1 not required. As the former ran alongside, a towline was attached to the bow ff the barque, and within five minutes she Was towing easily to the outer anchorage, where she will remain until the preliminary enquiry is concluded. Captain McNabb, marine surveyor, examined the barque again yesterday afternoon, but his report will not be available until this morning. We learn that up to yesterday afternoon the barque had hot niaae any > water, and was quite sound. A preliminary enquiry into the stranding of the barque will be held at the Custom Souse this morning, at ten o'clock. * 1 1
