The General Elections.

It being reported that there were some 70 or 80 cases of dual voting in connection with the city election the chief Returning Officer and his deputies have been engaged all day comparing the rolls. Several instances of dual voting were discovered, but nothing like the number reported, and these in no way affect the result of the elections. If those committing the breach of the Act can be identified proceedings will be instituted against them.
