Allen, Edenview Road, Glen Eden, Announces that lie is a Candidate offering his services to the Electors, of the above area. Mr Allen is at present Chairman of Finance Committee of the Glen Eden Town Board and is a candidate for .office on that Board at the forthcoming elections. He is a resident of the area and fully acquainted with the problems of the people of the area. The Candidate considers that the burden of Hospital Rating is almost unbearable, and that the system requires thorough examination and if possible alteration. He considers that the people's representatives on any of our democratic institutions should truly represent the views and opinions of the electors, and not the views and opinion of any organisation or group. A' service is offered and the Candidate will, if elected, take policy instructions only from the eleetqrs in association. The Candidate pledges himself to electors, will be answerable to electors iv association only, and will hand in his resignation if and when called upon on production of proof that; the pledge has been broken.
