Oaed Evening
There was a very good attendance at the Weekly card evening, organised by the Leigh Patriotic Committee, held in the Leigh Hall Public on Tuesday evening, August 7th. The ladies' prize for 500 was'won hy Mrs R. D. Matheson, lowest score to Mrs J* Dunning. Mr W. Dunning secured the men'sprize for 500, the eorisolar tion prize going to Mr C. Dunning. Supper was provided by the local ladies.
' The card evening held on Tuesday evening, August I.2th, was very well attended. Mrs 3. Dunning, gained_ the ladies' prize, lowest points to Miss Dunning. The men's prize for 500 was won by Mr Morley, lowest score to Mr W. Dunning. Supper was provided by the local ladies.
