There was a very good attendance at the Weekly card evening, organised by the Leigh Patriotic Committee, held in the Leigh Hall Public on Tuesday evening, August 7th. The ladies' prize for 500 was'won hy Mrs R. D. Matheson, lowest score to Mrs J* Dunning. Mr W. Dunning secured the men'sprize for 500, the eorisolar tion prize going to Mr C. Dunning. Supper was provided by the local ladies.
