Glen Eden Bridge Threatened

MOTOR CYCLE DAMAGED.

The destruction of the Glen Eden bridge, on the Matakana- Wark worth Eoad, was threatened last Saturday morning, when a motor cycle caught fire on the bridge and set the decking alight. Traffic was held up for about an hour, while motorists suppressad trie flames with wet sacks, earth and gravel. The decking of the bridge was charred, and the motor cycle badly damaged.
