The annual meeting of parishioners of the Warkworth Anglican Parochial District was held at Warkworth on Saturday the 17th inst at which there was a small attendance. The balance sheet presented by the wardens showed a gross income from all gojaspes for the year of £273 7a 8d wlfltwith the balance brought ioaward^Sßn previous year made a total of £3QQ 15s lOd. The gross expenditure for the twelve moaths amounted to £264 6s 9d leaving a gross tredit.balance,of £36,9s Id The^vioar nominated Mr Shannon as hiswarden and Mr Goertz was reelected people's warden. The following vestry men were elected:—Messrs Warner, Harming, Llewell, John Greenwood, C. S, Clarke, Evan Eichards, -A^ E. Dunningham and J. C. Palmer. The following resolution v wa3 unanimously carried <c That in accordance with the decisions of th<; General Meeting of the parishioners of Warkworth, Diocese, of Auckland, pledges itself to support the objective. of the Bible in State Schools League^ and requests that a referendum of the whole of the people of the Dominion be taken to decide the question.
