The Debating Society.
The AVarkworth Literary and Debating Society met on Tuesday evening last. There was a very good attendance. After arrangements had been made for the open night on October 6th, Mr H. E. French was appointed to the chair, and the proceedings of the evening commenced. The Eev. G. T. Marshall read his essay entitled "The Ideal Man.'' The final meeting of the session will take place on October 6th, in the Mascnic Hall when a programme of music, essays etc., etc., together Avith light refreshments, will be presented. Members wishing to invite friends may obtain tickets of admission from the secretary, Mr H. B. Moore.
