Router reports that Greek official circles are not perturbed, at the purchase of the battleship Rio de Janeiro, only surprised. Turkey has revealed the fact that she lias designs upon the Aegean Islands. Greece lias plenty of time during the nest six months to consider what action she will take, and m a last resort always has effectual means of ensuring that the Turkish Dreadnought will not leave British waters if mercenaries are used to man tho vessel. A delicate international question will arise m the fact that the navies can always be strengthened by the purchase of -a, South American Dreadnought. This J will be a constant menace to the ."World's peace, and a serious obstacle to the limitation of, armaments. Tho Temps says Turkey, Greece, and Italy have approached Argentina with a view to the sale ol two Dreadnoughts — the Moreno and Rivadavia — now under trial m tho United States.
