In the Ching murder case Detective Head. stated that he spoke to Dooley Khan, arid asked him about SilVa's statement as to the shooting: He replied that he was' at a neighbor's' at .the time the shooting took place.' Rutler also derie'd knowledge of a" conspiracy to kill the family. Ching, the father of the murdered. Children, gave evidence. ' He idenied," as alleged, ariy 'suggestion of marriage between the Hindoo and accused and his children. When witness ■wafited to search the house> accused tried to prevent him. The, case was adjourned.
