ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Pm Unhid Paras Association.) - HAMILTON, Juno 6. A. J. Smith, aged- 52, a builder, late of the / Thames, was killed on tho Waipa Collieries private line at Te Katoa yesterday. Mr Smith was standing on the line when a truck 'of coal, which was impelled by gravitation, oame down the slop© and jammed him agiainst the. screening bin. Death was instantaneous. CHRISTCHURCH, June 6. At Lake Coleridge this mornip.g Mrs Branmer was thrown out of a dray, tho wheel of whioh passed over her stomach. She was removed to the hospital in a serious condition.
