The message forwarded to us by the Anglo-Aus-tralian Press Telegraph Agency is to the same effect as tof our own correspondent, though not so full. Ie end it says :•—" The professionals did little or log. The English bowling was very indifferent; easily played. Their fielding-was good. The priau bowling was excellent —Allan and Cosstick "Tjowling much better than M'lntyre, Southertou, and Lillywhite.' The fielding of the Victorians at times-was rather loose, but generally it wasgood. The result has caused much satisfaction generally, and but little surprise."
