Wednesday, Bth November.1 (Before His Worship the Mayor.) _ Bye-law Cases.-—A" charge/against William Dalziel of keeping builcßag material in Princes street without having a-.lielit.upon the same, was dismissed, John Solomon, for obstructing the road in; Maclaggaa street by placing goods thereon, was fined 2s 6d. Norman Wood, for* placing a quantity of stone on the carriage road, was; finecl 2s 6d ; and for erecting the fotmdatiohr 6$ stWiMing without permission, was mulcted in a similar penalty. Wna. Colbourne was, for plying for hire off the proper stand, fined 5s and, costs. A charge against him. of> driving" round the corner of Princes and High streets at other than a walking pace- was dismissed, being the firstcasesunder;the'new,Bye^larw, but the Bench wished h to be distinctly understood that in all future cases under this Bye-law that were proved, a penalty would be enforced. ,■•.:. : . -
