C. M. Gilray (Otago). Capped for Scotland against England 1908-9; Wales 1909; and Ireland 1912. , Dr. A. B. Timins (Victoria). Played for Scotland against Wales 1896-1900---1-2-3; England 1901-2-3-4-5; Ireland 1900-1-4-5. Toured Australia with the Rev. Mullineux's British team 1899.

A. C. Wallace (New South Wales) Capped for Scotland 1923 and 1924.

The late G. C. Wade (New South Wales). c ' 'Capped for England against Scotland' lßß3-4; Ireland 1883-6;' Wales 1883^4-5-6. In his very first game Wade scored three tries, against Wales, against whom a third three-quarter was played for the -first time. He 'also represented Oxford m 1882-3-4 against Cambridge. In ; the above eleven games he was always on . the winning side:, He was; prodigiously , strong, very fast, a first-rate swerver, ' and had a shove off not forgotten m a hurry. A great tackier himself.

Dr. P. F. McEvedy, as a Kent County'rep., was reserve for, England eight or nine times. TonY Lawton, of N.S.W., and Geo. Aitken, of N.Z., were m the respective English and Scotch trials, 1922, but did. not get capped. INTERNATIONALS ON THE TREK.

F. W,. Mellish (South Africa 1921). Played for England m and 1921. B. 1.. Swannell, a member of BedellSlvright's 190,4 British team, toured N.Z. with the 1905 Australian team, and,' along^ with H. A. Judd, was the crack forward. He was subsequently secretary of the^ Metropolitan Rugby Union of N.S.W. Two other Britishers who settled m Australasia were A. J. Stuart and H. C. Speakman, of the 1888 British team.; /The former afterwards played for ;Ppneke, Wellington and the 1893 NvZ. .team m Australia. Speakman played for' Queensland for several: seasons. '-' '; ■ , '■■>•;

F. Surman (the N.S.W. skipper on N.Z. toiir ,1894) later played for Auckland, and from there was chosen iiveeighth m the 1896 N.Z. fifteen that defeated Queensland at Wellington. Surman, however, was originally a Merlvale (Christchurch) Club player.' ....
