Mr. E. D. Edwards, stepson of Mr. Justice Edwards, of Wellington, who has been for the past four years pursuing his stndies in medicine at Trinity College, Dublin, has been appointed surgical dresser u> Sir William Thornton, who i« taking ont to South Africa an Irish Field Hoppital, for which Lord Iveagh is finding the cost. Six are going an ilresotsro, and four surgeons, the rp«t being ambulance men and orderlies, 70 altogether.
