FIRE AT A FLAXMILL.
« [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Raxgiriri, Saturday. A portion of the flaxmill belonging to Mr. H. H. Gould, and situated on the property of Mr. F. Hubbard, at Matahura, was burned down. The engine and green mill was not affected in any way by the fire. Messrs. Gould and Hubbard estimate the loss at £100, principally in dressed flax and machinery. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The necessary repairs aro being proceeded with. The property was uninsured.
