Viscount Canning, ship, from London, 3 d.p., 1275 sailed Sept. 17. ■Waverley, brig, from Mauritius, 1 d.p., 2540. ARRIVAL OF THE METEOR FROM NEWCASTLE. The clipper barque Meteor, Capt. Verney, left Newcastle on the 20th ultimo, experiencing S.E. and E.S.E. winds till the 27th, since then light fine weather. Made the Poor Knights on Sunday last, and arrived in harbour yesterday morning. She brings a cargo of 382 tons coals, for Messrs. Henderson and MacfarLtne, and 30 barrels oatmeal, to order. The Hamburgh brig Reihersteig, Capt. Oellnann, sailed for Valparaiso yesterday morning. The steamer Egmont, for Sydney, and Lord Ashley, for the South ; both 6ail this morning. The s.s. Airedale is due in the Manukau from the South this day. The schooner Express was to sail from Newcastle for this port immediately after the Novelty. The s.s. Salamander, Capt. Clarke, arrived at Newcastle from this port on the loth ultimo. Thebarque Novelty was to sail from Sydney on the 27th ultimo. The barque Kohinor cleared out at Adelaide for Auckland on the loth ultimo.
