REMARKS.' * The produce naturally depends upon the nature and expense bestowed upon the cultivation and quality of soil, these returns will he found equivalent^to the .capabilities of the soil, and mode adopted in cultivation, as "at present carried on in this district. f Principally grown in gardens ; very prolific. The produce would not be less than. 6 quarters per acre, if cultivated largely. . t About the same as peas. 5 .But little cultivated at present U Very prolific^ but not, cultivated to a great extent : the private gardens yield large quantities, and of great size.
