The Servian Legation in London lias addressed a letter to the Press and public, urging the adoption or* the spelling "Serbian" and of "Servian," and "Scrvia." >( 'Tho latter spelling,".says.,the.legation spokesman, "is highly, offensive to our people, mainly because it suggests a false derivation'from'.tlie Latin root, meaning 'to serve.'
