CASUALTIES. Sam Cearns, Willi»ms, which arrired at San Franoiaco May 31 from Newcastle (N.S.W.), had encountered for the last two days heavy NW gales, and lost two euita of topsails. Douglas, barque, of Melbonme, Sayers, from Newcastle (N.S.W.) for Yokohama, whioh struok on the Golden Grove Shoal, May 8, 1869, was passed Feb. 27, on the SSE end of Elizabeth's Beef, with her masts all a-taut, and Teasel Tery little bilged or strained : she lay with about two feet water round her at low water.
