To the Editor oe the 'Evening Mail.' Sir — I fully endorse the facts pointed out by your correspondeut Pro Bono Publico in Tuesday evening's issue. I think it bigh time we began to shake off the lethargy that appears to have taken possessiou of onr minds for some time past. It is currently reported that there is to be a telegrapb station at Brightwater; surely if a one-shop village like that, witb very little goods traffic, is eutitlcd to a telegraph office aud station master, Wakefield is entitled to one also. Wake up, Wake up, ye men of Wakefield, and look after your interests, or you will be left in the background, and most people will say, serves you right.—l am, &c, Progress. Wakefield, March 15, 1878.
