ALEX. McLEOD'S CANDIDATURE
Not long ago over SOO members of the New Zealand "Workers' Union voted in favour of political actoin. Evidently they desired a policy aimed at the expulsion of tlie AEass-fcy-cum-Ward combination from the s«ats of power, and the strengthening of parliamentary Labor representation. The time has now come when they can prove the sincerity of their votes. The Labor candidate its Mastertou is ouo ef their own Union comrades, Air. Alex. M'cLood, who has loyally supported their industrial organisation, and he is in need of every ounce of assistance they can render him. Mr. McLeed has a excellent chance, of winning the seat.
