DISAFFILIATION. o. Any union may, by resolution, ; decide to disaffiliate with the office, out such decision shall not take effect until three months after such de.. cision and the payment of all dues. CONTROL OF FUNDS. 7. (a) The office shall receive all moneys belonging to each affiliated union, where such union desires it, ,| and shall m such cases, subject to the control and dirtr:ion of the board, deposit same in an approved bank to the credit cf such unions. Where the whole-of the fund 3of any union Js deposited with the office, such funds thai! be at the disposal and tinder the! : cant""*! of such, union, and the office shaii supply such union with a monthly statement of its financial position. In the event of any accumulated funds being in the possession of the office, and which are not necessary fcr extending the functions of the o_i.ee as herein provided, the board of control shall make a recommendtion with respect to such accuranl-■ c• : Junds. The disposal of iuch j.;:cumulated funds shall be determined by a vote of the members present at l meeting of each affiliated union, due notice of such meeting having been given. The chairman of each union snail submit a statement to the board .showing the number of members present at such meeting and the voting of such members, and the decision of the majority of members voting shall determine the method of disposal of such accumulated funds. EXTENDED ACTIVITIES. 9.-(a) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these rules,-the board of control may, through the central office, undertake the . secretarial or other work connected with any recognised Labor organisation. (b) It shall also be the duty of the board cf control to take any practicable steps to further advance the fraternal spirit among unionist- by such educational or otht-r as may be available f2*om time to time. ALTERATION OF CONSTITUTION. 1.0. Any of these rules- may be amended or rescinded on tbe motion of the board of control, provided that _,uch amendment is endorsed by a majority cf the members .present at a meeting of each union affiliated.
