Wo decided to hold a. purely business moetiiu; once r< month, i-ho other meetings io be dovoted to discussing subjects of interest to women. Members will in turn give a paper to start discussion. Mrs. Bed; led off last week with a paper on the "Woman's-Movement and Peaco." This K-eok Mrs. Cunningham gave on interesting paper on tho "CD. .Ant," wliicli created a healthy discussion aud showed that onr women aro , well awako to 1-ho danger ,«i nllov/ing such aa Act to be again enforced in New Zealand, and their determination to opposo any suggestion put forward in favour of it. All women are invited to these discussion meetings.
A very enjoyable social was held under the miapicos of Mie League on Tltursda.y, • September 7th. Musical items were contributed by Miss Cranmcr.
