The Runanga Resolution
241 COUNCILS CIRCULARISED.
In. connection with, the Runangtt Borough Council's, motion protesting against the increasing cost. of living, calling upon the Government to. inter*veno in the interests of the masses, and seeking the co-operation of kindred societies, the town clerk (Mr. G. R. Hunter) forwarded 241 circulars in all —125 to borough councils and 116 to county councils. A local paper says that, judging by reports, some of the local bodies—especially those in farming communities, are in full accord with the exploitation that is going on.
